Alzheimer’s poetry

Between him and wall was a blank
Filled with a wooden desk of poetry
Where gibberish wakes experience,

Poem desk standing with a leg less.
An Alzheimer’s uncle has four legs
On table of mahogany with streak

Of evening light across its surface.
His sounds explore spaces of wall
A blank wall with rich experiences.
